It's ok to ride the chair up the hill sometimes. Wolf Creek boasts the most snow in Colorado and has some excellent in the trees skiing. Only about a two hour drive from our yurt.
Need to rent some gear in Chama, talk to Bob and Missy Porter they will take great care of you, and Bob knows the area as well as anybody in town.

Ok, this doesn't have much to do with wintertime fun but you need to come to Chama in the summer and ride this train. It is spectacular, and you get great views of all the terrain surrounding the yurt.
